Leather spines with embossed artistic vignettes, indication of the author and the volume number; the covers are glued with calico with artistic vignettes with blint embossing on the upper covers. Scuffs and minor soiling of bindings, gluing of spines, cracks along spines, loss of spine leather fragments; in separate volumes: blocks loose, cracks along forzats, paper / cloth gluing along forzats, loss of free sheets of forzats, covers separated from the block, minor stains in blocks. Ownership inscriptions on the front endpapers and frontispiece: "Dmitry Kozinich Kushnarev / Vera Dmitrievna Kushnareva"; "To Mamanchiku on the day of her angel from her son A.V. Evseev / 1900. 14 October"; "P.M. Evseeva / 1900". Enclosed is a sheet with a handwritten "Cantata to Gogol" by B.I. Gvozdikov (1902).
