. – [2], 242, [2] pages; 12°. Edition of 600 copies. In a period full leather binding. Spine with bands, label with the title on the upper part of the spine, endpapers of colored paper, tinted edges. In good condition. Wear on the binding, pasted title page along the spine, pre-revolutionary paper label with number on the spine, library and ownership's stamps on the title page, reverse of the title page, and several other pages, children's drawings on a free endpaper. The edition was printed at the translator's expense. The authorship was mistakenly attributed to S. Vichar de Saint-Real. Eustache Le Noble (1643-1711) was a French writer; one of the most translated authors in Russia during an era scarce in translations, which indicated high recognition from the reading public.
