Vera Vladimirovna Komstadius (née Malama; 1876-1948) was the wife of Nikolai Nikolaevich Komstadius (1866-1917), a Russian major general and commander of the Life Guards Cuirassier Regiment of His Majesty. The Komstadius family lived in their estate in Crimea in 1917. On October 11, 1917, Nikolai Nikolaevich Komstadius Sr. passed away. Vera Vladimirovna Komstadius left Russia with her children in 1920. They lived in Greece for several years, where Vera Vladimirovna served in the entourage of Princess Elena Vladimirovna. In 1923, the family moved to France, where Vera Vladimirovna organized a shelter for Russian children (Saint-Germain-en-Laye). She continued her charitable work until the end of her days.
