In 2016, the brand was acquired. The new production was launched the following year in Belgium. Guérin-Boutron was the first company to launch into advertising imagery. These chromolithographs were not intended to be presented in albums. Two Livre d'or albums of contemporary celebrities were published from 1903, each containing around 500 images.
