The lid with radiating fluted decoration, centered on a large oval lapis lazuli cabochon, bathed. The reverse with yellow gilding and the inside with pink gilding. Goldsmith's hallmark [G.S. in Cyrillic]: Grigory SBETNAYEV, active in MOSCOW from 1893. Kokoshnik hallmark for 1908-1926. Gross weight: 266 g. - 3.9 x 10.3 x 7 cm. Natural cracks previously filled. Scratches, spots of oxidation; wear to the gilding on the reverse; lid slightly warped at the ends.
