Hug, Nicolaus (1771-1852) Dominican Island, hand-coloured outline etching, around 1810. "View of the Dominican Island from the upper nature in Constance from the Mitagseite", Dominican cloister from the south, Upper Wall and Rhine Gate Tower. On the Upper Wall, lined by an avenue of poplars, prominent people. The inscription "Manufacture" on the Dominican church. In the background on the right, the calico factory of the emigrant Dassié with a wooden hanging tower for drying the fabrics. Signed at the bottom right.
