Wedding cabinet, probably from the Alpine region of eastern Switzerland, 1st half of the 19th century Written banderole "Samuel Kern - Rosa Fischbacherin". Richly decorated with floral ornamentation, also known as the 'flower of life', a popular motif in European folk art, especially in Christian contexts. The original shelves have been laminated with white adhesive film, new shelves (removable) have also been inserted. Pine, somewhat worm-eaten. Height 139 cm, width 103 cm, depth 51.5 cm.
