Mummy mask. Late period, 664 - 30 BC, probably string period, 664 - 552 BC Wood with remains of painting, h 26cm. Face with high wig. Remains of a white stucco base with parallel stripes on the wig and red-brown skin. Provenance: Ex collection Walter Fürstweger, Munich (1928 - 2015). Acquired in the art trade in the 1970s and early 1980s.
