LOBI, BURKINA FASO. Set of three figures, carved in wood with a light brown patina. The main figure is vertical, standing on long, slightly bent legs, with a prominent belly. The rigor of the angular, square shoulders is contrasted with the softness of the rounded face, accentuated by a headdress that follows the shape of the skull. On either side, two small figures appear laterally. Height 18 - Width 16 cm Base: Height 1 - L 4.5 - W 9.5 cm Provenance: Claude Ferrand surrealist collection. Expert: Madame Aurore Krier-Mariani.
