The northern Ibo with freely carved arms, standing on large, rounded feet, with strong cylindrical legs, protruding buttocks and navel, scarification marks on cheeks, forehead and body, round shoulders with bent arms and open hands, naturalistic nose and oval eyes, elaborate coiffure of spirally arranged lobes, open mouth showing whitened teeth, ichi scarification marks on the forehead and necklace of carved leopard teeth (Inv.-No. 6.202). Illustrated in: K.-F. Schaedler, Encyclopedia of African Art and Culture, (2009), p. 281. Exhibited: 2010 in the Galerie Pixis, Munich, Kurfürstenstraße. Reddish patina, intact.
