Five orders/decorations Knight's Cross of the French Order of the Legion of Honor from the 2nd Empire, 1852 - 1870, heavily chipped. Austrian Cross of Military Merit III. class with KD. Serbian Cross of Honor for fighters in the Serbian-Bulgarian War of 1913 and two Polish badges/awards. Partly heavily damaged, without ribbon. Condition: II - III

FRANCE ORDRE DE LA LEGION D'HONNEUR, instituted in 1802. Important grand-croix plaque from the IInd Republic period, once belonging to Marshal Dode de la Brunerie. Five-branched double star in silver, worked to a diamond point, with tricolor flags in enameled gold (one of the motifs is missing). Silver center, with legend "BONAPARTE PREMIER CONSUL HONNEUR ET PATRIE" and profile of Bonaparte head to right in gold. Vermeil reverse with rocking clasp and two hooks. 104 mm.72 g. B. (Missing lower ribbon motif with attachment hook; one flag motif detached). Provenance: -Marechal Guillaume Dode de la Brunerie, -Then descendants. History: Dode had been Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor since April 28, 1843.
