Maison VEDDER Paris (1842-1876) Rosewood, mahogany, light wood and green-stained wood veneered chiffonier with inlaid cubes. It opens with a drawer in the waistband, a flap revealing pigeonholes and drawers simulating three large drawers, and 4 drawers in the lower section. Rounded mounts with inlaid fluting, sinuous base resting on staved feet. Beautiful ornamentation of chased gilded bronzes in the Louis XVI style. Vedder nameplate. Louis XVI style, Napoleon III period 143 x 88 x 41 cm Cracked flap, stains and minor dents. Good overall condition.
