The painting was made for an illustrated edition of "Byliny" published in 1955 by Goslitizdat. Signed and dated 1947 lower left. Has a label on the verso. Dimensions: 27 x 19 3/4 in., (68 x 49.5 cm.) The paper is wrinkled around the edges. Has several holes from nails. Visible tears around the edges. No signs of restoration.
