Morris Kantor (1896-1974), a pastel and charcoal on paper drawing depicting a dancing woman. Signed "M. Kantor" lower left. Matted, housed in a wooden frame. Inscribed on the verso: "Original drawing, Morris Kantor, Do not destroy". Morris Kantor was a Minsk-born American painter. Kantor's work is in collections of many prominent museums, including the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Whitney Museum,Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, Art Institute of Chicago, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and Hirshhorn Museum.
