Yoshimori Utagawa (Japanese, 1830 - 1884), color woodblock print "Minamoto no Tametomo Appearance for the Battle of Hogen-Heiji" Published by Sagamiya Tokichi, 1860. Note: Yoshimori Utagawa (also known as Yoshimori Taguchi) was a 19th-century woodblock print artist. A student of Kuniyoshi Utagawa, Yoshimori is known for his Yokohama-e, prints that depict the booming port town of Yokohama and its influx of foreign people and things. Dimensions: 14 1/2 x 29 1/4 in., (37 x 74.5 cm.) The panels are seperated. Creases along the edges and folds of each panel. Some tears on the corners and edges.
