Gaston PROST (1881-1967) 2 plates from the suite "Scènes asiatiques" after Tsuguharu Foujita Stencils made using the Jacomet process Sight size: 23.5 x 19 cm The Jacomet process is an art printing technique developed by Daniel Jacomet. It combines phototyping, which uses bichromated gelatin to create screenless images, and stencil coloring, where zinc stencils are cut out and used to apply water-based colors to the print. This method enables faithful, high-quality reproduction of drawings, washes, watercolors and gouaches.
