The work can be dated to the first half of the 1950s, the period in which the collaboration between Aligi Sassu and the Pozzo Garitta manufactory of Albisola took place, as reported by the Helenita and Aligi Sassu Foundation, whom we thank for their assistance in cataloguing the object. Another similar plate is known to be in the Foundation Archives, signed and dated 1953.
