Dolorosa, attributed to Diego Antonio de Mora López, sculptor (1658-1729), Granada Baroque school of the 18th century Measurements: 57 x 50 x 36 cm. In polychrome wood, glass eyes. Throughout his long artistic career he worked on various iconographic types, highlighting among them that of Jesus the Nazareth, with his own characteristics that make him the prototype of Jesus with the cross on his shoulder par excellence of the Granada school of sculpture, especially for the such a personal dialogue that establishes the arms with the cross and the expression of the faces. Also worth highlighting is the model of the enthroned Virgin of Aurora, widely disseminated in the Mora environment.
