Italian Baroque Master Active in the Spanish Court from Charles III to Charles IV - Allegory of Fine Arts - Last quarter of the 18th century Important oil representation on canvas of three Loves that, respectively, embody the Three Fine Arts (Music, Painting and Sculpture) also called the three Noble Arts, to be identified, in the left corner the Allegory of Sculpture, the central Cherub he delights with a palette and a brush in his hand in clear allusion to painting, while, in the background, we see a royal marble bust of Emperor Charles I of Spain observing the whole, with a score and a tambourine leaning on him, in clear allusion to the last (and no less important) of the three so-called Noble Arts: Music.
