One volume. 32 by 23.8 cm (Italian format). 24 unnumbered leaves. Illustrated publisher's boards, in mint condition (one tiny flaw at one corner). Complete with illustrated dust jacket (edges of jacket chipped). Perfect condition inside. Musical score and 7 color lithographs preceded by illustrated title. Illustrated cover and dust jacket. Title lettering, inner flyleaf decoration, stamps and fleurons by George Auriol. Georges Fragerolle (1854-1920) was a French composer who set Gabriel Vicaire's Noël Bressan to music, among other works. Henri RIVIERE (1864-1951) was a painter and engraver. Between 1886 and 1897, he created color shadow-theater projections at the Chat Noir cabaret. Using this technique, he published works such as Le Juif errant, illustrating the musical scores presented at the Chat noir.

Quelques déchirures. 120 x 82 cm. Note : Georges PELISSIER (né en 1909) fût élève de élève de Georges Gromort, Emmanuel Pontremoli et André Leconte, à l'école des beaux arts de 10 juillet 1933 à juin 1939. Ce projet d'affiche fût probablement le sujet d'un concours lors de sa scolarité. Les restes d'étiquettes cachant à l'origine le nom de l'élève et du professeur correspondaient certainement à une volonté de préserver l'anonymat des candidats.

Artiste contemporain marocain, Khalid El Bekay est diplômé de l'Institut supérieur des Beaux-Arts de Tétouan en 1990 et de la Faculté des Beaux-Arts de Barcelone. Il vit et travaille entre Casablanca et Barcelone.
