Oak and softwood travel case inlaid with violet wood and decorated with brass hinges with fleurdelisé motifs; the sides feature drop handles; rectangular in shape, it opens with a flap revealing a pigeonhole and two small paper-holding drawers and, once open, features two drawer pulls passing through the sides in order to be fixed to a carriage or home floor. 17th century (some wear and tear).
