Violonné wall-mounted cartel and its console in Boulle brass and tortoiseshell marquetry with foliate scrolls. Ornamented with chased and gilded bronzes, the corners adorned with espagnolettes, the glass decorated with putti, the scrolled legs applied with acanthus leaves, at the base a putto, the support finished with a leafy base. The dial features twelve enamelled cartouches with Roman numerals for the hours. Early Louis XV period Cartel dimensions: H.: 63 cm - W.: 40 cm - D.: 17 cm Console dimensions: H.: 29 cm - W.: 47 cm - D.: 22 cm Movement reworked and restored (in working order) - Damage, missing parts and restorations to the marquetry.
