20th century French work Very large and rare folding screen with ten articulated panels in lacquered and painted wood, decorated with stylized women in an environment of flowers and foliage. H: 200.5 cm - Total length: 400 cm. (accidents and missing parts) The decoration on our folding screen is reminiscent of the compositions created during the Art Deco period by artists and illustrators who were passionate about fashion and nature, highlighting the creations of couturiers such as Jean Patou, Jeanne Lanvin, Madeleine Vionnet, Elsa Schiaparelli, Hélène Rochas and Paul Poiret. Among these artists were Edouard Halouze, Jean Dupas, Georges Lepape and Georges Barbier. At the same time, Georges De Feure, Maurice Dufrene and Atelier Martine incorporated stylized flower designs into their furniture creations. PBG EXPERTISES
