This 40 km long section of the network was completed in 1905. The line was mainly built for military and not commercial purposes, like the other railroad lines between Hungary and Galicia. Due to the high mountain location, there are several bridges, viaducts and tunnels on the line. The photographs show the work at Csorbadomb, near Uzsok: the ferry and the wagons on the temporary wooden viaduct, the entrance and the construction of the tunnel at Uzsok. Includes a picture of the architects and investors of the project posing on a trolley at the entrance to the tunnel. - Stained, slightly faded. Some edges broken, one torn. Overall in good condition.
