Fine repoussé decoration on the engraved faces depicts swans, palmettes, rosettes and interlacing. The owner's initials are engraved on the bottom of the basin, and are difficult to read. The ewer features a raised handle decorated with two snakes emerging from a quiver. The body is engraved with a frieze of palmettes and swans. The pedestal is friezed with heart-shaped raisins.
