Cannes architect Pierre Fauroux helped make the Côte d'Azur part of 20th-century architectural history. Although recently deceased, he was responsible for a number of emblematic Sophia Antipolis buildings, including the Eglise-Mairie de Garbejaire, the cylindrical Micromania building and the salvage of Eileen Gray's Villa E1027.
