TRICDANE PEARLS These two fine, round pearls are born from a large shell with the gentle name of Tridacna Gigas from the Philippine Seas, more commonly known as the "clam". The birth process is the same as for fine pearls from oysters, only the growth is organized differently. They can be distinguished by their porcelain or moiré effect, reminiscent of other rare fine pearls such as the pink pearls born in Strombus Gigas. Two Tricdane natural pearls.
