The necklace is accompanied by a notice from Jean-Norbert Salit. THE BARBARIANS ARRIVED This necklace is one of a series of similarly inspired creations, including jewelry that Madame Jeanne Boivin called "Assyrian" or "Celtic", some in silver or vermeil, some in gold. This eclectic taste was shared by Madame Boivin and her designer Suzanne Belperron. The same curiosity, the same visits to museums and exhibitions, all mixed together in the swirling melting pot on the second floor of the Avenue de l'Opéra.
