Watches JAEGER-LECOULTE. Geomatic Chronometre. -Very Rare- Reference E560. Self-winding movement. 18kt yellow gold tonneau case 33mm diameter, anthracite dial with gold baton hour markers. Hours, minutes and seconds at center. Bracelet and clasp not original. Plexiglas glass. c. 1972. Watch in excellent condition, no signs of wear appreciated. This magnificent specimen follows the reference "E398" and although we cannot define exactly the number of pieces marketed, we can say that this watch was produced with a run NOT exceeding 300 units. An important feature of this reference is its chronometer certification and hack-system (or stop-second) functionality, which allows the time to be adjusted to the nearest second. Watch in running order, accompanied by dealer's bill of sale. At the time of cataloging the watch appears to be running but the movement has not been tested for time accuracy.
