SHRINE IN THE FOREST WITH APPROACHING MAIDEN Watercolor on paper. 16 x 23 cm. Signed lower center. With estate stamp verso. In ebonized profile frame. A sunlit path leading out of the forest under tall trees in a clearing, on which a maiden moves into the foreground, where there is a chapel with a triptych and sculptures.
