Half-length portrait of the composer Anton Bruckner in a blue, single-buttoned frock coat with a white and pink shirt and bow tie underneath. His arms are pulled down and his head is turned slightly forward, so that his posture indicates loneliness and longing. Sanchis-Cortes has paid great attention to the gentleman's shining eyes, which do not look at the viewer, but create an honest and polite impression. (1402003) (19)
