SEA LANDSCAPE Oil on hardboard. 68 x 98 cm. Monogrammed lower right. Inscribed on label verso with artist's biographical data, location "Chiemsee" and title "Hochwasser im April". Landscape painting in landscape format. Trees rising from the sides in early spring, still with few leaves, on the shore of a lake with a blue mountain range in the background, a small pond in the foreground. The artist's lifelike painting style is characterized by the strong colour palettes and the rapid, impasto brushwork. (14010235) (19)
