SAINT JOSEPH WITH THE BOY JESUS Oil on canvas. Doubled. 68.5 x 55.5 cm Unframed. Saint Joseph with gray hair and a full beard, holding the naked boy Jesus with his two strong hands on a white cloth and gazing lovingly at him against a brown background. Jesus has blond hair, a light, almost white incarnation, red lips and holds a small cross in his right hand as a reference to the coming suffering. With his dark, shining eyes, he looks sadly out of the picture. Partly restored, partly retouched. (14008948) (18)
