SMALL TOWN WITH BURNING MONASTERY CHURCH Oil on wood. 26 x 33.5 cm. Signed lower right, verso on old label with artist's name and title "Nachtlandschaft mit Klosterbrand". A small town on the river with a burning monastery under a night sky. Numerous inhabitants and also two monks are extinguishing the fire and saving the church utensils. (1400271) (18)
