Seated behind a large rectangular stone in front of a high rock, leaning slightly to the right, Mary Magdalene in a red and yellow robe with a white blouse and long blond, curly hair. She has folded her hands on her leg and is looking down with half-closed eyes and a sad and penitent expression on her face. In the background on the right is a wide, predominantly gray-green landscape under a cloudy sky. Depiction in which the usual attributes of Mary Magdalene have been dispensed with.
