Italienischer Maler des 17. Jahrhunderts, nach Poussin FANTASTIC LANDSCAPE WITH FIGURES AND ANIMALS Oil on canvas. Doubled. 102 x 160 cm. In decorative gilded frame. The left half of the painting shows a large rock formation above a river with cascades, crossed by a footbridge with two figures and a path leading up to a hill with a building complex. In the foreground on the right on the riverbank a pair of shepherds with their cattle, including cows, donkeys and a dog; behind them the view extends to a wide river landscape almost entirely rendered in light grey-blue, on the banks of which several places can be seen, under a high sky with dramatically moving clouds.
