DANCING MONKEYS WITH MUSICIAN Oil on copper. Approx. 21 x 30.5 cm. In a forest landscape in a clearing, a pair of monkeys in human clothing with headgear, holding hands in the middle and each raising one leg to dance. On the right below a tree a monkey in green robe and headgear, hanging a container by his side and playing a flute. Two small birds sitting on the ground and a parrot on a branch above the pair, eagerly watching the merry goings-on. Rest, partly retouched. (1401151) (18)
