HIGH WATER Acrylic on canvas. 70 x 130 cm. Signed lower left, inscribed "(Schloss) Bleckede" and dated "1987". A path surrounds a dyke, which lies in a C-shape in the picture and behind which lies a body of water in bright pink with purple gradations, which also surrounds three strong trees whose branches pierce into the sky. For the years 1986 and 1987, Peter Krusche, who was born in Kaufbeuren and studied under Professor Ernst Fuchs in Vienna and Günther Fruhtrunk, among others, received a scholarship from the state of Lower Saxony at Bleckede Castle on the Elbe.(14010215) (13)
