Gottfried Helnwein, geb. 1948 Wien BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS (JAMES DEAN) Color lithograph. 75 x 60 cm. Signed lower right below the image, edition 6/999 lower left. Framed behind glass. The depiction shows James Dean in Times Square in New York in 1955. The Austrian-Irish artist became known above all for his hyperrealism. His techniques also include the use of photography as a medium, often in connection with performance. Lives and works in Ireland and Los Angeles.(1402344) (1) (18)
