Height: 32 cm. Length: 41 cm. Depth: 17 cm. France, 19th century. The motif taken up several times in sculptural art. The reclining figure on a récamière, sunk into sleep. The cline on lion paws and winged lions, on a green/white veined marble base. Black patinated bronze, partly bronze-gold lustre. Applied palmette decoration with mascaron to the front of the base.
