THE COUNTESS RUSPOLI IN A VALUABLE CARRIAGE Oil on canvas. 74 x 92 cm. Signed and dated "Jean Gabriel Domergue 1921" lower right. In a magnificent frame. Against a moving blue, white and purple background, a magnificent carriage, gold-colored on the inside, through whose open door the view falls on the seated countess, with a wide long whitish skirt and a darker top with floral decoration. She has a wide décolleté, slender arms and long, delicate fingers and her delicate face, with almost closed eyes, looks slightly downwards. Painting in a rapid brushstroke by the painter known for his portraits of women.
