FL-201911-000224 of the Comité Léger, Paris, November 27, 2019. Fernand Léger was a French painter, sculptor, graphic artist, ceramicist and film director. His early work is associated with Cubism, and he was particularly influenced by Picasso and Georges Braque. From the 1920s onwards, he increasingly integrated figurative elements into his paintings. In 1937, some of his paintings were confiscated from museums as "degenerate art".
