In 1890 he went to Pont-Aven in Brittany and came into contact with artists there, in particular Paul Gauguin (1848-1903) and Emile Henri Bernard (1868-1941). In the following years, he also traveled to Normandy and Brittany, where he painted the hills and rivers of the region. (1402372) (18) Gustave Loiseau, 1865 Paris - 1935 ibid.
