STILL LIFE WITH FRUIT Oil on canvas. Doubled. 77.5 x 97.5 cm. In decorative gilt frame. In a wooded landscape, in front of and on the frieze of figures on the base of a towering column, the carefully rendered fruit. Several figs, apples, light and dark bunches of grapes, some with a branch of vine foliage growing sideways and upwards, a few cherries and plums and two large pumpkins can be seen. The subtle lighting emphasizes various fruits and their reflective highlights. Harmonious depiction in restrained colors. (1401622) (18)
