JUDGMENT OF PARIS Oil on wood. Parquetized. 38 x 57 cm. In a fluted and profiled frame. In a hilly landscape characterized by vegetation, Paris with Aphrodite, Athena and Hera led to him by Hermes. Hermes can be seen in a moving gesture in the middle ground on the right. The present painting takes up a pictorial idea by Hans von Aachen, which we see realized in the National Museum in Stockholm under inv. no. NM739 and of which we may offer a repetition here.
