Kindly attributed to the artist by Prof. Sylvain Bellenger, Director of the Museo di Capodimonte, Naples. Standing on an old wooden panel in the foreground is a large, shallow ceramic bowl filled with bright red strawberries, with a clay pot and freshly baked bread behind it. In the background, a dark bottle and another in a wooden container. Fine, high-quality painting and harmonious composition, objects partly with set highlights. Annotation: The Spanish still life painter was a pupil of Louis-Michel van Loo (1707-1771).
