Paar Girandolen im Louis XV-Stil

Height each: 45.5 cm. Weight of the candlesticks together: 4660 g. Stand ring hallmarked "AUCOC AINE" (Louis junior Aucoc, 1850-1932, 6, rue de la Paix), master's mark and 950 fineness Minerva mark from 1838. Paris, 1887-1911. Silver, cast, chased, chased. Each with a baluster stem with a tall vase spout above a matching stand with scalloped profiles. Inside, a separate four-flame plug-in top with vegetal arms and a raised center. In a wooden casket elegantly decorated in wine red with brass mounts and the inscription "L. AUCOC AINÉ a PARIS". Annotation: Louis Aucoc continued a renowned family business by taking over the Lobjois company in 1877 and opening the Maison Louis Aucoc in Paris in its place. He was president of the Chambre syndicale de la Bijouterie-Joalerie-Orfevrerie. He supervised the training and early design career of René Lalique.
