Holländische Silberdose
Height: 4 cm. Width: 12.5 cm. Depth: 5.5 cm. Five silver hallmarks on the inside base, including the Amsterdam city mark. 18th century. With engraved scenes of the seasons. Elongated rectangular shape, with hinged lid, engraved scenes of the four seasons on the lid and base, each inscribed: "Lente - Zomer - Herfst - Winter", in between a couple playing badminton, as well as a tavern scene. Leaf decoration on the edges. The inside of the lid has two little doors, with further original pub scenes underneath, lined with red fabric. (1402315) (11)
