Height: 105 and 109 cm. France or Flanders, 17th century. Carved oak. The sculptures, uncovered from a possible former setting, are seated figures and were probably once seated in the entablature of a high altar or side altar frame, whereby the different viewing directions - once downwards, once upwards - suggest different positions within this architectural frame. The robes are naturalistically folded, the hands gesticulating and once holding the handle of a strap object. The hair in naturalistic form, once with tapered tapered strands, once with naturalistic tapered strands. Former worm infestation. Dam.
