Height approx.: 48.5 cm. Width approx. 35.5 cm. Marks: 84 Zolotnik with a Moscow inspection and unidentified master's mark. Moscow, 19th century. A broad plate decorated with malachite above four mighty volute feet, dominated by the half-figure of a Russian warrior with weapons. His clothing slides into the pen tray, which almost occupies the front width. To his right is a separate inkwell, whose architectural structure gives the impression that the plate is a landscape.
